The short version
Your full-quality footage stays on your computer. We collect what we need to run your account, your credits and your billing, and nothing for advertising.
What we collect
- Account details. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile photo. If you use an email link, we receive your email address.
- Credits and plan. Your plan, credit balance and credit history, such as your free trial video, monthly credits and edits.
- Billing. Payments are handled by Stripe. CenaCut never sees or stores your full card number.
- Downloads. We count app downloads by version and country. We don't store IP addresses for this.
Your footage
The CenaCut app renders your final video on your own PC, so your original files stay there. To plan an edit, the app sends lightweight previews (such as sampled frames, transcripts and low-resolution copies) to our servers and AI service providers. These previews are stored temporarily and deleted after processing. Reference videos guide the style of your edit; their footage and music are never copied into it.
Who helps us run CenaCut
- Cloudflare hosts the website and our servers.
- Supabase stores accounts and credit records.
- Google provides “Continue with Google” sign-in.
- Stripe processes payments.
- AI providers analyze previews to plan edits. They'll be listed here before launch.
Cookies and storage
The website keeps your sign-in session in your browser's local storage so you stay signed in. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.
Your choices
- Sign out on every device from your account page.
- Ask us to delete your account and its data by emailing cenacut.app@gmail.com.
- Ask what data we hold about you at the same address.
